The Nasorean Orthodox Qahal, the international body that controls the Nasorean Sect of Judaism, which is an apocalyptic Messianic Judaism, is the modern successor to the ancient Jewish sect of Nazoreans. One branch of Nazoreanism morphed into the Jerusalem Church led by James the Just and the Apostles. We count James as our first bishop and Yeshua’s family ruled our church for its first 100 years. We accept the Kabbalah, also called the Qabbalah, and the Cabala, as sacred texts. The constitution of the Sect is the Didache, which was written by Shimon haTzaddik, Yeshua’s brother. We reject all books tainted by the Pauline Heresy. Qahal is the Hebrew word for Church or Assembly. We use Nasorean so as to differentiate ourselves from others trying to masquerade as ancient Nazoreans. Many scholars are also adopting that word to describe us. It is led by Baruch ha Tzaddik. Our Church will always focus on bringing the descendants of Jacob, the so-called Lost Sheep of the House of Israel into the Church, as Yeshua (Jesus) taught us. The ministry of the Sect centers on making those who have heard the Voice and accepted the Path of Holiness or, Way of Holiness as the early sect called the Path,holy people, saints if you will. The Sect makes liberal use of the Dead Sea Scrolls in its official teachings. We are Torah-keeping Jews in all ways except our belief in Yeshua (Jesus).
The Nasorean Orthodox Qahal believes that Yeshua ha Meshiach was the Melchizedek High Priest of the Diety and that he acted as the Meshiach of Melchizedek and is the Priest-King of Israel. We believe that he arose from the dead and now ministers in heaven as the Archangel Metatron and High Priest of Heaven. We are a Torah believing and teaching Jewish Sect.
The Nasorean Orthodox Qahal believes in healing by the laying on of hands and by united prayer over long distances. It likewise believes in demons and the exorcising of demons. As a result of these beliefs, the Qahal has established Divine Light Therapies where you can receive hands on healing and counseling, exorcism, and hypnotherapy for your illnesses.
